Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1 When I close all browser windows, but I leave my downloads manager open doing something, and then I try to pop up a new browser window (either from the menu or from the keystroke), it won't open. The meny bar for firefox locks up, with the file menu selected, all other applications remain unharmed, but firefox hangs (the browser part), though the download continues. As soon as it finishes downloading, it sometimes crashes, and sometimes pops the new window I had requested way before. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open several browser widows, start downloading then close all the windows. 2.Let the download continue and try to open a new browser window. 3. Actual Results: The window will not open until the download finishes, or when it finishes Firefox hangs. Expected Results: Open a new window right after the user requests it, while leaving the download to go to completion. I currently use the default theme in Firefox 1.0 Preview Release, and this bug has been present for a while now, regardless of the theme. I have been using the latest version of Firefox since March 2004.
