(This bug imported from BugSplat, Netscape's internal bugsystem. It was known there as bug #328581 http://scopus.netscape.com/bugsplat/show_bug.cgi?id=328581 Imported into Bugzilla on 01/26/99 23:02) Build: Export Install: Pro Menu options for Composer plugins aren't displayed in the Tools menu. The failure appears unrelated to delaying Java mechanism because the Tools menu options fail to show up also for plugins that don't use the manifest.txt file. It's happening only in the build for Linux 1.2 (libc). Furthermore, no Browser plugins get installed by Linux 1.2 build either. Steps to reproduce: 1. From Navigator window, select File|New|Blank page 2. Click on the Tools menu /*Notice that no menu options for composer plugins are displayed */ This is not a regression from previous Communicator releases. Composer plugins runs ok on Linux 2.0 (libc), Redhat 5.0 (glib) and all other Unix builds.
Putting on 4.5 radar whilst brade checks out. Set to TFV 4.5In if needed for RTM.
This was broken in previous versions of 4.0x Communicator so it doesn't make the highbar for 4.5. Set tfv to 5.0 and downgrade to P1.

reassign to kostello@netscape.com we should keep this around (even if plugins aren't working initially) since someday we may want this to work...
