Oops set flag to wrong value.

I suspect this regression may be the result of the check-in for bug 276100.
I can confirm this behavior using: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050101 Firefox/1.0+ The the dropdown appears, but selecting the new options does not change the control's value.

WFM: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050102. In case it helps: Mathml & svg enable/disable set to defaults (mathml on, svg off?).
WFM Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050102 Firefox/1.0+. I guess someone should test on Windows with a clean build from today.
We need someone to check the regression window. Download some nightlies and see when exactly you can reproduce this.
it has been verified that bug 276100 is the problem
This only happens when I open the pull down menu via the arrow button. When I open it by clicking into the text area I can select one option.
Attached patch fixes the regression (deleted) — Splinter Review
This fixes the regression. I don't understand why we didn't get any new warnings because of this? Quite strange. Do we need reviews?

Actually, there was a warning in brad's warning log, blamed to bmlk. But the number has been oscillating a bit so you didn't notice the increase.
