Using 1/28 build on Win 95, Win 98, Win NT, Mac 8.5 Open URL. On the right side of the main table, there are the following sections: 'What's Hot', 'Quick Search', 'Featured Software'. Mac 8.5 is OK. Windows platforms: Expected result: items within table (text, form, image) should lay out within table Actual result: items lay out outside of table (partially) Phillip - can you test this on Linux?

Ok, on linux build 99020213, the problem exists. i'm going to wait for today's builds before i update the OS/Platform fields, though, becuase the problem looks to have been fixed between 2 and 4 pm monday on the windows build. it doesn't happen on macintosh either. here is the problem: there are 2 columns of content within the white area of the background. initially, they lay out correctly and are fully within the confines of said area. but then, perhaps 10 seconds after layout completes, these two tables become about 15 pixels WIDER than they should be. This is clearly seen in the TDs with a light yellow background (Categories, Quick Search). also, in linux, the yellow bar (which is a 1 pexel gif scaled to 180x2) appears black. (new bug?) the expected behavior would be for the tables not to grow those extra 10-20 pixels.

it's even worse on build 99020313, redhat52. the td's resize themselves several times, going from ok to wrong, back to ok again, and then very wrong. for some reason, the table keeps reflowing and calculating its width incorrectly.

I'm gonna move this to M3. Would like to see fixed for Dogfood so we can we can use these types of pages in every day work without chaos :-)

Tested this out on Mac 8.5 with 2/4 build. Was OK on 1/28 build but now is showing the same bug behavior. Leaving as parity bug because Win NT is OK.

Correcting comments - bug behavior is cross platform. Removing [PP].
