User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050207 Firefox/1.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050207 Firefox/1.0+
When you download a file (any file will do for this case - a large file will buy
more time and work better for this issue) and close out the main browser window,
only the download window will be left. However with only the download window
open, you cannot control the menubar items except for the FireFox menubar item.
If you try to select a menubar item such as Bookmarks, it will just highlight
and produce no drop down of your bookmarks. This issue is reproducible
everytime and the only way to fix it currently is to wait for the download to
finish. Then the Firefox menubar items
(File/Edit/View/Go/Bookmarks/Tools/Window/Help) become available and functional
again.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a download file.
2.Close main browser window once download window appears.
3.Go to any of the menubar items
(File/Edit/View/Go/Bookmarks/Tools/Window/Help)and they are rendered useless and
only highlight when clicked on. No drop down menus appear.
4. Once download is complete, you can then click the menubar items and Firefox
works as it should
Actual Results:
(see Details and Steps to Reproduce for actual results)
Expected Results:
The software should have given drop down menus for the menu item selected.
Instead, it just highlights the name of that menu and fails to produce the
desired result.
Theme: SilverSkin 2.6.3 (happens with default theme, too)
