Verison:Viewer.app Build: Feb 2 Platform: Macintosh Other Platforms: Doesn't crash on win platforms Expected Results: To be able to select text on page. What I got: A crash occurs when attempting to select text on the page. Steps to reproduce: 1) Launch Viewer.app 2) Select Editor mode from Tools menu. 3) Go to a different sample page. 4) Notice that the page displays portion of the current and previous page. 5) Attempt to select text in this page. 6) A crash occurs.

Putting on [PP] list, setting to M3 for Dogfood fix. petersen, please give us results with Linux.

I am not positive this is due to selection. there is a problem with scrolled views and starting a new page. I will investigate
can we get a stack trace?
And test with latest build. Linux included. Results here when ya get done. Thanks!

this is in viewer only i will label as wont fix. but i will look into some better ownership models

this works fine now. we have another allready reported problem of the caret timer causing a crash on the closing of an editor window.
Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
Fixed in 5/17 Mac Build.
