* TITLE/SUMMARY
[PP] Form elements (text boxes/button) on whowhere misplaced after scroll
* STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0) Launch Viewer
1) Open http://www.whowhere.com
2) Scroll downwards, slowly, so that the form elements at the top of the page are
scrolled off the screen.
3) Slowly, scroll back up.
* RESULT
- What happened
The "First Name", "Last Name", "Search the Web" text boxes & "Go Get It!" button
become vertically (and upwards) offset. Sometimes, they return to their correct
location if given a few seconds.
- What was expected
I'll try to break down the page for a simplified test case, but it's fairly
complex & uses style sheets.
* REGRESSION
- Occurs On
viewer (2.4.99 optimized build for Linux)
- Doesn't Occur On
viewer (2.5.99 optimized build for Mac OS)
viewer (2.4.99 optimized build for Win32 [NT 4, Service Pack 3])
* CONFIGURATIONS TESTED
- [Mac] Power Mac 8500/120 (233 Mhz 604e), 64 MB RAM (VM on; 1 MB of VM used),
1024x768 (Thousands of Colors), Mac OS 8.5.1
- [Win32] Vectra VL (233 Mhz P2), 96 MB RAM, 800x600 (True Color), NT 4.0 SP3.
- [Linux] Vectra VL (266 Mhz P2), 96 MB RAM.

[sorry, can't come up with a useful simplified test case after 10 minutes of
playing around.]

I just tried both of these pages and they both render fine. I can also scroll
and text fields & buttons seem to do the right thing.

Verified that this bug is no longer taking place, using the April 9th AM build.
(While the form elements remain completely broken on these pages, they appear to
be broken for different reasons. Specifically, form buttons flash when mouse
pointer leaves the application window, form elements are occasionally replaced
with garbage data, and the form element location/sizing is incorrect.)
