I use simplified chinese Windows Xp home edition, the default web browser is
firefox. I have saved some html files on the Desktop, and the full path of
Desktop contains some chinese characcters in my windows (C:\Documents and
Settings\Owner\桌面). So it impossable to open the files on the Desktop by
double clicking, and the files in other directories, which contains only english
characters or numbers, have no such problem. by drag and drop all files can be
opened.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.save html page on the desktop or other directory, which contains chinese
chars, or save the page in a normal directory (e.g. c:\) but using a chinese
string as file name.
2.double click the file
3.
Actual Results:
firefox reports a error"cannot found the file, please check the URL and try again."
ps: I get the error in chinese(无法找到......(文件名), 请检查地址然后重试)
Expected Results:
It is expected, that by double clicking on any html file, the firefox should
open it in a tab.
