Not sure if we want to do this...
From http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/shellcc/platform/shell/programmersguide/shell_new_vista/default_programs.asp
When the user selects a program from the list, the program icon and provider are displayed. If the URL is embedded in the program's digitally signed certificate, the program can also display a URL. Programs that are not digitally signed cannot display a URL.

Is this required for the Vista release, or just something nice to have?

I think of this as a nice to have but may be simple to include in the work being done to sign the exe

The tool that signs the .exe already does this; just need to know what the URL should be.

Let's get the URL we need and get this in for 2.0.0.2.

Set blocking1.8.0.10+ as well, since we will be signing both branches this time around.

These are process changes, so they'll show up to be verified when builds are spun.

In today's signed build, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/2007020823 Firefox/2.0.0.2 the url shows up as mozilla.org instead of mozilla.com. reopening this to get it on the radar.

So it is. Crap.
I'll have to resign these win32 builds.
I can have them reposted by this afternoon, though.

verified fixed on on the 1.8 branch using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/2007020823 Firefox/2.0.0.2. I used the build from the candidate directory in Comment 10 to verify. Per preed, it will be the same build ID used previously. There was no fixed keyword on this bug, so I added the verified for tracking purposes.
