When a window with a transparent background is resized, the transparency bitmap is not resized which causes the newly revealed regions of the window to be transparent. See attachment https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=242410 for a screen shot.
The upcoming patch fixes this as per Robert's comments here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356182#c25
