I'm just guessing that Troy owns this code.

[I've also seen this crash _with_ a specified mimetype, but only on Mac OS. For a
simplified reproduction case, just load http://www.prometheus-music.com/gecko/
areaaccess5.html.]

well it doesn't crash anyway -- I will open a new bug that states the image does
not render
I have a fix for this. It is sitting on my local tree, but I need to resolve
some other issue first. Somehow, the whole object-image thing is broken now. Or
is it only me?
