Details
(Mac only.)
1. Launch apprunner.
2. Insert a floppy disk.
3. Wait. It doesn't show up on the Macintosh desktop, even after quitting
apprunner. You must reboot or use a paper clip to eject the floppy.
Re-assigned to mcmullen@netscape.com and set target milestone to M5.
John, obviously we're not handling disk events in our event loope. This ought
to be easy to fix ... :-)
Someone seriously expects this app to do normal stuff like this? We don't even
have an apple menu or an application menu!
Oh well...
As far as I'm concerned this doesn't have to be fixed until later in the
game.... Jan?
Yes, I don't think it's a dogfood stopper, I hope you understood that I was
speaking jocularly above.
Here's the proof:
:-D
Of course, we need to fix this eventually.

Cool...will put on Release Notes for M3. Moving from P3 to P1 thought, cause we
all know it really needs to work someday...no worries :-) I am happy we're
launching again!

Verified fixed using 6.1.99 9:00 AM Mac OS build. Confirmed that floppy disk
insertion events (and to be anal, a SCSI Zip disk insertion) were recognized
while Apprunner was running as the foreground application.
Also fooled around a bit within the (Nav Services) Open File dialog, which
successfully ejected and recognized the insertion of floppy disks.
Thus, verified fixed.
