mconnor noticed this, on mac trunk if you set editor.singleline.pasteNewlines=2, hitting enter adds spaces to an input type="text". Seems to be mac-only, so I'm filing in Widget:Mac. Doesn't happen on 2006, so it's a regression from something.
confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a8) Gecko/2007091211 GranParadiso/3.0a8 i will search a regression range
I went way back, this is not broken in 2006-09-01-08.
Yeah, I backed that out locally and this doesn't appear. Definitely bug 376093.
Depends on: 376093
