Here is what we need for Web localization : a/ translation of the in-product pages b/ translation of the google snippets for the start page (depends on Google supported languages, to be determined with them) c/ optional but nice to have : Mozilla Developper Center in Bengali Points a/ and b/ are mostly a one-shot work, points c/ is a long term commitment to the project that require maintenance. c/ does not block the shipping of Firefox 2 in Bengali, to be precise.

http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Web_parts#How_to_provide_a_translation_for_the_Firefox.2FThunderbird_in-product_pages has the links to bugzilla attachments for the in-product pages, http://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Web_parts#Firefox_Snippets_on_the_start_page has the bug link to the start page snippets. For the timeline, we'll need to have the snippets and in-product pages up for the release, and that includes time for staging and testing, and in the case of the google snippets, google to pick them up.

The Firefox in-product pages are fine, good work, they are committed on SVN revision 7421. One of the snippets was half translated ("Customize Firefox to work your way with"), can you look at it ? The Thunderbird page will need graphics work for the title banner so it's not going online for now.

Hi Pascal, I tried to look for the string you mentioned.. but couldnt find it in entirety. Would it be possible to point me to any updated english documents which I can refer to. Additionally I found two Header strings in ../customize and ../help that were missed out. I submitted the correct version in the bug.
