User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071008 Firefox/2.0.0.8 With active downloads and dm open, you can close the main browser window. However, you cannot simply start a new browser (since it's already running), and the dm does not have an option for opening a new browser window, so you're stuck and have to wait until all downloads are finished. My current workaround: created a new profile and used that for surfing the net in the meantime :-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start browser, activate dm display 2.start a longer download 3.close main browser window 4.try to get it back so you can surf again :-) Actual Results: all worked fine until I did it again :-) Expected Results: either allow a new browser instance to be created by the start script if only the dm ist still active or add a hotkey or button to the dm to reopen the browser window I think this is a 'works as designed' or 'you got what you ordered' topic, so I blame my own actions, but it's still annoying for regular users that are using only a single profile
