- Go to a secure page. - Click the icon left to the URL. - Click "tell me more" and you'll get the "page info" dialog. - Click the "view certificate" button. Expected behavior: - button gets clicked, cert details come up Actual behavior: - nothing happens. (Apparently the click only made Larry go away) - it's necessary to click once more.
Kai - I wonder if this was caused by the bustage (now fixed) from bug 378668, which broke the security page javascript on some platforms. Can you still reproduce this on current trunk, now that the fix for that bustage is in?
Yes, I can still reproduce, I just updated to the latest trunk. The only effect of the first click is that Larry goes away.
So I can't reproduce this on windows or mac, which makes me wonder if it might be related to bug 402415 which also seems linux-specific and has to do with larry not closing properly. Does the patch in that bug (just explicitly closes the popup on link-click) make this behaviour go away as well?
