I've tried the Gecko browser on my Powerbook G3 and when I hit the resize button,
nothing happens. The default window is too big to let me see the bottom part, I
can only see what look like link buttons.
Please fix this.

The reporter speaks of two bugs. The first and the one we will track here is that the max/min button on the top right is broken.
*Reproduce
1) Click the max/min box
*Result
nada.
*expected
automatic resize to fit content as is the Mac's way
-this bug is Mac only-
the second issue is a different bug now and can be tracked as bug #4253
Re-assigned to trudelle@netscape.com.
Peter, this is more of the same that will be fixed when Eric checks in his
stuff.

I know bug 3444 and this bug is no 3444. The reproter mentioned 2 things, one of the issues is a dupe, it was opened and then
marked as such.
This bug is for tracking the Mac only issue of cliking the resize button which works fine on any other platform
Now it may very well be that Eric stuff fixes this too but just in case this bug must remain open.

Right you are, good save. assigning to sdagley as p3 for m4. It's actually
worse than described, on an 800X600 monitor the bottom of the window is
offscreen, can't be moved onscreen, so I can't resize the window in any way.

yeah, this bug and bug 3976 form the blocking pair. You need one or the other to work in order to resize. the current workaround
is to, a)buy a large monitor, or b) increase the resolution of screen so you can 'see' the grow-tab on the bottom right.

I checked in a hack for the Mac to address the problem with the window being
taller than the screen until we get a cross platform answer to the issue.
Leaving this bug open since it refers to the zoom widget not functioning.

Fix checked in so that the zoom widget now does something on the Mac. Note that
on a large monitor system the default memory partition may not be large enough to
handle a full screen window so you may need to bump it up. Also note that the
4.5 functionality of zooming to content size is not currently supported. Log a
bug against davidm@netscape.com (he's working on the window manager code for
SeaMonkey) for that one.
