Details
After following a link from my.netscape.com and clicking the <BACK> button,
the scrollbars on the right and bottom of the window have disappeared.
It looks like this is only happening to the new channels where a navigation bar
is placed at the top of the screen.
F.e. the old channels for Mozillazine (service=mozillazine) works fine if you
click on the title, and then return to my.netscape.com
The new channel (service=net.254) however will make the scrollbars disappear
after returning to my.netscape.com.
I am using the version of 18/3/99 12:36pm (apprunner.exe)
I am not a developer, so I can't give you any further details. Please let me
know if you are interested in these kind of bugs.
Richard - thanks for the bug.
Here's what I see under Win 98: My Netscape is apparently down at the moment, so
I'm presented with a page full of links. After following one, clicking Back,
following another one, and clicking Back again, the scroll bars are missing from
the page at http://my.netscape.com. This bug looks valid to me. Jan, if
requested, I'll look at this under linux and Mac OS 8.5 Tuesday Mar 23.
Re-assigned to trudelle@netscape.com and changed component to XP
Toolkit/Widgets.
Peter, is this more of the usual window size problem?

I can't reproduce, because I can't even see the page once. reassigning to danm as
p3 for m5
I also can't reproduce this problem. Both viewer and apprunner have awful problems trying to load
http://my.netscape.com with a current build (WinNT, 19 Apr 99 debug). Neither can get as far as
even displaying a scrollbar on the first visit.
On the other hand, http://home.netscape.com will load. When that page is subjected to this test,
the scrollbars work. Whatever problem there was with scrollbars, it was probably a short-lived,
well-known thing. We have worse problems now; apparently in layout.
pushing off to M6 because this bug, if still present, is obscured by other layout bugs.

adding nisheeth to the cc list. he is working on clearing out the
layout blockage
Still having trouble loading (or should I say, can't load) my.netscape.com using Mozilla.
It's not a layout problem. But it does stop me from getting to step 1 of this bug.
Postponing to next milestone.

In spite of my previous comments, Mozilla will load enough of my.netscape.com to get an active link
or two, and some scrollbars, if the window is scrunched up enough. Hit "stop" so it takes what
it can get, go to one of the links, and hit "back." And "stop." Still have scrollbars. So I declare
this bug fixed sometime after it was reported. But there does still remain the basic problem
loading this page. Is there a separate bug for that?
Whiteboard: Waiting for a build that loads my.netscape.com OK → My Netscape still not loading in apprunner (6/1/99)

Well, My Netscape is now (largely) loading using the 1999070608 build under NT,
and this bug - if I follow it exactly as written - seems to have been fixed.
Marking verified.
