User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 This is a little feature suggestion. If you search for something in a web page, the window scrolls to the word so that the word found is at the lower bottom of the visible web page. This means you can only read the line the word is in. It would be better if the window scrolled in that way, that the found word and some 5 lines below that word are visible. In that way you can read the passage and then decide if this was what you were looking for. Analogous for the upwards search. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a long web page 2. ctrl+F, look for the letter "e" 3. if you repeat the search pressing F3 several times Actual Results: if the page beginns to scroll, "e" is found at the bottom of the visible page you can't read the next lines without manually scrolling there Expected Results: scroll in that way that the next few lines after the word you were searching for, are visible
Summary: Find function scrolls found word to the edge od the window - one can't read the following lines → Find function scrolls found word to the edge of the window - one can't read the following lines
