This is specific to Linux.
Using the HTML code at the URI above, this form/table displays differently than
on Mac OS or Windows. The problem appears to be that an extra table cell is
drawn to the right of the button, but I can't say for sure.
The table in which this bit is embedded is set to have a width of 340; there are
3 cells in this table, only the center one of which is set to have a width (of
25). Presumably something is going awry with determining the width of cells
numbers 1 and 3; other platforms guess better instead of crowding everything as
much to the left as possible.

Sounds like Linux only.
Yup, Linux only. The same HTML gives different results on Mac OS 8.5.1 & NT 4.
March 28 build used on every platform.
this a html rendering problem. i only do widgets and gfx, not layout Unsure
who to assign to.

I just tried this on both NT and linux (apr 6 builds).
They look almost identical. I suspect that the font code erik landed has fixed
the problem.
Can you verify on a apr 6+ build ? thanks.

Windows 95, and Linux (Red Hat 6.0)

Given the fact that 5 months elapsed between the filing of this bug and the
resolution of it as 'worksforme', noting that this is more than likely a mystery
fix. I'm leaving the resolution as worksforme to cut down on bug mail, however.
