When a web page contains multiple images on an external location protected by http basic auth, a password dialog is displayed for all images, even when only one dialog is needed. how to replicate: 1) make a web page linking to multiple images 2) place those images all in the same location, protected by http basic auth 3) load the page in the browser 4) multiple dialogs displayed expected: only one password dialog in step 4. maybe the web page needs to be protected by http basic auth in another realm too. I get this behaviour in our password protected wiki linking to external images, also protected by (another) password. bug is on vista and linux.
