User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.16 (20080708) Whenever ther Message Box with "This folder is being processed. Please wait until processing is complete to get messages." is displayed, it prevents all further automatic downloads for mail. This means if you go away from the computer for a period of time and use the automatic mail collection, nothing is collected after the appearance of this message box until you are once again present to close the Message Box. As someone who is often away for 3 or 4 days at a time, has only a 56K modem connection and receives high vlumes of mail, this can then delay dealing with mail for ups to 30 hours while mail is caught up. For example, I was recently away for 4 days and the box appeared approx 2 hours after I left. The result was over 80MB of mail to download. This took just under 30 hours to do (includes the fact that mail kept being sent). As some of my mailboxes only have a 5Mb capacity, this creates major issues. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: 1.Randomly occurs 2. 3. Actual Results: N/A Expected Results: N/A Message box (and associated trigger) should do the job, then close to allow features to continue.
I can also vouch for this bug, its extremely random, and happens from time to time and causes problems with busy email accounts where you retrieve 300+ emails every hour. When this message appears, it block the whole process and require a long wait to download all the back logged messages the system stopped downloading. It needs to be fixed, or perhaps disabled for automatic downloads.
