RE: Seamonkey apr6 (Apr 06:00:51) on win_nt 4.0
hardware: HP x86, family 6, 233 MHZ, 32 MB, 4 GA
Apprunner.exe application crashes when I select Display Inbox Msg1, or Msg2, or
Msg3 from the Demo menu in the message center.
Steps:
1. Run apprunner.exe
2. From the Task menu, select Messenger to open the message center
3. From the Demo menu, select Display Inbox Msg 1, application crashes
consistently
4. It also crashes when I select Msg2, or Msg3 or Msg4.
100% reproducible.
Actual result: application crashes when selecting "Display Inbox Msg1" or Msg2,
or Msg3, or Msg4.
Expected result: It should display the messages from the Inbox. This used to
work in the earlier builds.
phil is on vacation until Thursday
reassign to mscott since this bug appears serious and causes a crash.

QA, sorry for not filing a bug on this earlier. Displaying mail messages crashes
for almost 90% of all messages (at least 90% of my messages =)). This problem
actually originated in Monday's builds.
It is due to a problem in the new html parser re-write which was just checked
Sunday. I've been working with Rick Gessner to fix the problem. He's still
working on it.
Since this is definetly an M4 stopper for mail (since we can't display messages
), I'm going to up the rickg stress level a bit and mark this as a P1 M4 bug and
then re-assign it to Rick. Sorry Rick =).
changing platform to all, setting priority, and target milestone...
Scott M. Remember the april fool joke? I was unable to see the tool bar icon
in the Monday build. (Please refer to bug 4484).

I meant to add this yesterday: this crash has nothing to do with the demos menu
itself. Displaying messages from the thread pane causes the same crash in the
htmlparser.....
RE: Win32 seamonkey build (apr 07 03:27:00)
This problem still exists. Click on any message in the message pane still causes
crashes.

Rick just checked in the fix a few minutes ago....it isn't the QA builds yet....
Fenella, pls verify this bug once it's marked fixed and new builds are
available. Thanks.

When displaying message or selecting Memo|Display Inbox Msg2, it does not crash
any more.
