In last night's build (Linux 20000730) I noticed that the 'cache directory' entry was missing from prefs.
This isn't really a bug. Rather, it was removed since not many users used this feature apparantly and it was creating problems on the Macintosh. Marking this a dupe of bug 46490 which requests putting it (back) in. Use your voting power ;-) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 46490 ***
