Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: 20081209 I regularly hop between Sent and Inbox and perform quick searches against those folders. However, in the Sent folder, "Recipient" is far more useful than "Sender," but I don't see a need to go and alter my default Quick Search criteria. I would like to see "Subject, Sender, or Recipient" as another option or replacement of "Subject or Sender." An effective alternative might be to silently roll in "Recipient" without changing the label text, if that doesn't offend many purists.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click into Inbox, use quick search toolbar "Subject or Sender", smile 2. click into Sent, use quick search toolbar "Subject or Sender", be frustrated, switch to "Recipient", smile 3. click back into Inbox, use quick search toolbar, see that you're back on "Recipient", be frustrated, switch to "Subject or Sender", smile again Actual Results: Sender and Recipient are accurately distinct with respect to Sent/Inbox, but it doesn't make much sense. Expected Results: Sender/Recipient should be interchangeable with respect to Sent. Perhaps a better term is "Message Participant" or "Person" or similar.
> I would like to see "Subject, Sender, or Recipient" as another > option or replacement of "Subject or Sender." Assuming that "Recipient" implies "To or Cc", that's bug 462578.
