File | Exit from Compose window not working.
Build 1999040808
RedHat Linux 5.2
1) Tasks | Messenger
2) New message
3) From the Compose window, choose File | Exit. Nothing happens. In the
terminal window, you see:
menu selected
Exit from XUL
Closing compose app core
JavaScript error: composeAppCore.exit is not a function
URL:
file:////u/lchiang/seamonkey/990408/package/res/mailnews/compose/msgcompose.xul
LineNo: 88
Note: File | Exit works fine from the Messenger window.
(I don't know if this is cross platform. I am unable to try on Windows at this
time.)
fyi, this also occurs in the win32 april 8 optimized build. The File|Close and
File|Exit does nothing.
Workaround: click on the title bar to bring up the control button and select
close or click on the 'X' button to close the window.
Peter, why did you resolve this bug as "invalid"? True, there is a workaround,
but the menu item doesn't work which is a bug.

This happens on Win32 also. We tried this on nbaca's and pmock's Win32 systems
with the same results. In the Compose window select File/Exit or File/Close and
nothing happens.
