On Linux selecting Copy from the Edit menu does not copy selected text. This works fine on Windows and in some cases on the Mac.

Per mjudge, the bug # of which this was marked as a duplicate was a typo. Mike, should it really be a duplicate of 4617, perhaps?

Using the 5.18.99 Linux build, this appears to be fixed (outside of the URL bar), and is now verified as such. [Tried copying hordes of different items, and pasted them into the editor.]

Per a request from Selection and Search component eng (mjudge) and qa (elig), moving all "Selection and Search" bugs to new "Selection" component. Original "Selection and Search" component will be retired.
