Details

If you select File - New - Blank Page, a new browser window is opened. Expected result (presumably): a new blank page is generated (in Composer?).
This also happens with Page Using Template... and Page Using Draft.
Hardware: PC → All
file-->new-->blank yields the Gecko start page on all platforms. Not a copy of the page your viewing, not a composer page, just the Welcome Gecko page.
I get a hang and eventual crash about half the time on Linux. It draws an 'unknown' window(new windows read 'Mozilla'), no chrome, then hangs for a bit and then crashes.

I have a fix for this. Just some simple JS/XOOL stuff.

there is a checkbox on the dialog box that asks if you would like to have this open in a new window, currently nothing happens so I will leave this open until the checkbox is enabled.

Looking at this now in the 1999061409 build under NT, selecting File | New | Blank Page opens a new Ender window. This appears to be the correct behavior. Going ahead and marking this as verified fixed.
