IME reconversion works fine in Composer with IME reconversion icon. However, the reconversion popup menu does not show up. Step of reproduce 1. Go to above URL 2. Ctrl ~ to turn on IME 3. Type Japanese characters in the text area, like "表示" and hit Enter 4. Select the characters you just typed 5. Use the right click The "reconversion (再変換)" menu item should be in the popup menu. Tested 2000-08-17-08 Win32 build with Win98J and Windows 2000J.

There is no "above url" here, but this bug resembles the one you filed in bug 49342 - where the url is http://babel/tests/browser/bft/sjis/bft_browser_form_sjis.html

remove the target milestone roy- I believe the reconversion is already implement, but we don't present UI in context menu for reconversion. Please consider fix this for m0.9.7 . How hard to do that in m0.9.7?

We should ask Joe if it's already implemented. Last time Joe and I talked, the feature is not there. I may be mistaking. Joe?

Here is the work around. 1. Click IME standard icon in IME tool bar 2. Select Properties in pop-up menu 3. On General tab, click setting icon 4. Select "henkan" having function "sai-hennkann" key,then click Add Key button 5. Select any key in list e.g. ctrl+Q then OK Now "sai-henkan" function assigned onto ctrl+Q key Since we are using 101 key bord which has no "henkan" key, therefore we need to assign this "sai-henkan" function onto some key on 101 key bord 6. Hit ctrl+Q instead of step 5 in comment #2, function of "sai-henkan" works.
