Prior to last Thursday's build, when you selected multiple messages in the message list view, a "selected" counter would track the number of messages selected in the lower right side of the status, next to "unread". This counter has disappeared, I'm assuming due to bug 497199.

Works for me. It started working a couple builds ago, but this is my current build:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1pre) Gecko/20090713 Shredder/3.0b3pre
