Crashed on launch with April 12 Mac build, yet Talkback did not come up. Release says it's still a bit flakey. So, we'll keep this bug open until it work properly.

current status is: - commercial builds automation is complete, but is not yet in production (needs to be kicked of manually for now) - builds include the tackback library and a valid master.ini file - symbol files get uploaded to the fullcircle server (cyclone) but file names are still incorrect. That's the only thing I need to fix before completion. note: using 4/12 build, it took me 1/2 hour before I could finally crash apprunner!!! A reproducible crash scenario would help me doing final testing.

elig or paulmac, could you give jj a test that currently always crashes Mac Apprunner right now? A menu item? Printing twice? Whatever you have in your hat of tricks ;-) Thanks!

Thanks for the pointer. I'll give it a try. As an update, the outstanding issue (symbol file names) has been resolved and the build process is complete. Things are now on hold up until Shiva checks in some initialization changes that affect all platform. As soon as this is done, I will verify my automation then mark this bug fixed.

can we start producing commercial builds now without shiva's move? theoretically, the build process should be the same. we're running out of time on M5...could we build FullCircled builds where it is now (in appshell.shlb) and then move the call in M6??

I could revert to the old plan as cyeh pointed out, even though I already made the necessary changes in the ns tree (apprunner.mcp, BuildCommercial.pm, etc.) Shiva, please advise.

ok. changes have been checked in (mozilla/xpfe/bootstrap/nsAppRunner.cpp) and commercial bits w/Tackback will be delivered daily, after the verification is complete. Look for "netscape5-mac.sea.bin" files inside the usual repositories on sweetlou.
