Details
Latest CCK Wizard Machine
1.Launch CCK Wiz.
2.Proceed to the Account Setup Page 1 of 1
3.Change the Text Editor from Notepad to Wordpad by selecting the "Browse"
button.
4.Select the "Create" button to create a new .NCI file
5.Name the file test25.nci and select Create button.
Results:
Immediately launches MS-DOS mode then launches Wordpad with the following
dialog: "Wordpad-C:\cckwm\cckwiz\ase\NCIFiles\test25.nci. Cannot find this
file. Please verify that the correct path and file name are given." Select
the [OK] button. Wordpad exits and the next dialog appears:
"Information-test25.nci is saved in C:\cckwm\cckwiz\ase\NCIFiles\" [OK]
If you go to Explore and check this directory, test25.nci IS NOT created.
We need to put full path in the filed that says
which text editor to use. If you fill that field
using Browse button, you won't see this error.
If the user enters the path manually, we should
make sure that enters the complete path. It works
for notepad as path to notepad will be there in the
environment PATH for most of the machines. Either
we need to add some text on the top of this field
requesting user to enter complete path or have
Wizardmachine check whether user entered a valid
path for the text editor of his choice. Setting TFV
to M9.
