User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060215 Firefox/3.0.11
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0.0.0
If you choose not to let Thunderbird remember the password for LDAP authentication, it is frequently re-requested, e.g. for every new message when auto-completion using this directory is turned on. The behaviour should instead resemble that for mail servers, which is to remember the password for the current application session in any case; the selection means to remember it (or not) permanently.
Reproducible: Always
