BuildID: 2000090604
When hitting the browse button two things may happen:
1)Instant hard crash - mouse doesn't move, etc
2)Mozilla quits, the "system error occured" dialog comes up with a Finder CHK
error, and the same crash (i.e. unable to hit Restart)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to any Bugzilla add attachment page
2.Hit 'Browse'
Actual Results: System crash
Expected Results: Present Nav Services dialog to pick the file
Powermac G3 B/W, OS 9.0.4.
Sorry, don't have Macsbug installed at the moment.

OK, here's some MacsBug output:

When I get back to the Finder this error pops up and I have to reboot:

I saved the full Stdlog if anyone wants it.
Oh, one other thing: when I ran the Installer, I didn't select Mail/News. Maybe
something is left out of Navigator that should be there?

Is this not a dup of bug 49010?
It crashes here with 2000-09-06-21/Linux if I hit "Browse..."

It could be, but I don't think it is, my guess is the Mac bug is more recent. I
am trying to find out.
2000090621:
On linux i don't crash - the filepicker simply never appears when i hit "browse"
(Not a filepicker bug as such: It opens OK with "File/open file.." from menubar)

This may be an extesion conflict. banford: can you run without 3rd party
extensions, and see if you still crash? Also list your extensions here that
affect Nav Services dialogs.

I hosed my boot drive a couple of days ago, and on reinstalling what I had
before the bug (of course) had disappeared. Sigh.
Might as well mark this WORKSFORME
