The ZDNet main page does not render properly at all. The side frame comes up, but when it tries to render the main page, the terminal where apprunner was started just gives Alert: Alert! did not find a converter or decoder over and over again. The content of the main page appears at the bottom of the page, all moved to the left hand side. This is for build 1999041412, M4.

Revisiting this page today with a CVS build from June 20 on Red Hat Linux 6.0, ZDNet seems to render correctly now on my system. I have come across quite a number of bugs like this that seem cured now--I suspect something has been fixed in the layout engine since then that accounts for many general problems like this. I suggest we mark this as fixed. Somebody please verify.

this page does not render correctly, upon my initial investigation, I believe it has to do with the ILAYER and LAYER elements. It does not render correctly using win32 or Linux, I did not test on mac

If so, then perhaps this should be marked as a duplicate of 475? That bug has been longstanding, and has a simple testcase of a LAYERS problem attached to it.

Setting to M9 whilst you'all resolve this. M8 is out.
