I'm seeing what's probably the same bug with M4 on WinNT4 SP3 at http://developer.netscape.com/js/javascript.html I didn't see the scroll bar "jump" to the left; there was a redundant scroll bar on the left side of the screen as soon as the window opened. The scroll bar on the right edge is normal and fully function. The scroll bar on the left is very narrow (right edge of it lines up with right edge of the dark blue toolbar minimizer thingies on the toolbar directly above, and just to right of the scrollbar there's what looks like a frame separator gray line). You can drag the left scoll bar up and down, but it has no effect on the document's scroll position.

Resolved as WORKSFORME. I don't see this problem. Is it possible to give me a screen dump? Are you mistaking the sidebar on the left for a scrollbar?
