(This bug imported from BugSplat, Netscape's internal bugsystem. It was known there as bug #9770 http://scopus.netscape.com/bugsplat/show_bug.cgi?id=9770 Imported into Bugzilla on 04/20/99 11:21) With Korean environment enabled (if you don't know how to do this have a 118n engineer help) go to the above listed URL. Save this location as a bookmark. Select the bookmark menu and the name of the Korean bookmark you saved will be displayed in garbage (ie. the wrong font is used to display the character codes. This is true on the Mac and on Windows. This has not been verfied on UNIX but is likely there as well.
This is not a Korean bug. It is a I18n Bug. For Mac, I will try to store win_csid with bookmark name. Then I can put script id into boookmark menu so menu manager will use the application font of that script to display it for me. We should create another bug to deal with bookmark window.
Since UNIX and Window cannot do multi-lingual Menu. Let's do it later.
Wait until we support multilingual.
Change the origional title "Bookmarks do not properly show Korean text" Need to look at file format for Bookmark and Addressbook.
Later for Dogbert again.....
Per 6/26/97 meeting, I'm re-assigning this to erik for 6.0 Needs to change the target fix version later to match 6.0 Originally this bug also covered Address Book, but we opened a new bug for Address Book for 5.0 as the AB is important for LDAPv3 compliance. Thus, what's left needs to be dealt with in 6.0.
