Steps to reproduce: -install seamonkey; -copy LocaleSelfTest.exe into the dir where apprunner.exe is; -on the MS-DOS prompt type drive:\...\\LocaleSelfTest.exe -date > Drive:\....\\filename.txt //note: there is no output into JA text file and the text in the Russian one is incorrect.

Resolution: --- → FIXED
This was because of a lack of unicode conversion in the test program. I fixed it for windows, latest binary was copied to /u/momoi/Sort/win There is a known problem of collation and date/time format. In Win95 or Win98, it only works for Latin1 (need an additional service in nsLocale). This won't be fixed before M5 so do the testing using NT only.

I do get an output and the format is correct ( one that locale has)but the name for day and month dosn't make any sense. Might have something to do with Service pack : it is working correctly for FR NT4.0 with SP3 and i have SP1 installed on RU system). Will look into it when i get SP3 or 4 installed.
