This tinderbox log... http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showlog.cgi?log=MozillaTry/1267057597.1267067225.32001.gz WINNT 5.2 try hg unit test on 2010/02/24 16:26:37 ... is marked "success" and is displayed as green on the tinderbox page. This seems to me to be incorrect, because it includes a hang + intentional-crash (which is highlighted in the short log). I'll attach the relevant chunks of the full log.
I will be looking into this.

Here's the tinderbox log, with two large chunks snipped out (and replaced with "[*** dholbert SNIP ***]"). What remains is the beginning of the log, the chunk around the intentional crash, and the end of the log.

Alternately -- if the hang + intentional crash is expected in this case (maybe it is?), we shouldn't be highlighting it in the shortlog.
CC'ing bsmedberg in case he has any insights here, since it looks like the hang/intentional-crash is in plugin code.

I don't see the hang, I just see three PROCESS-CRASH lines, which are expected. What is the hang you're worried about?
Oh sorry -- I'd thought that a crash at "IntentionalCrash" in a tinderbox log indicated that we were hanging, and we'd crashed the hanging process to figure out where. I might be confusing my crash-stacks, though. So maybe comment 3 is correct then (aside from the mention of 'hang')? i.e., should the shortlog not be highlighting this crash since it's expected (and benign, it sounds like, from comment 5?)
