not sure if this is a valid bug, but the page at the above url renders correctly in 4.5x but not in seamonkey. the document contains the following tag: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-2"> is this hooked up yet? if you look at the page in question, the problem is that Romanian characters such as s-cedilla are not displaying correctly. build 1999042608, Windows NT 4. Did not attempt to reproduce on Mac OS or linux due to lack of Central European fonts.
Have hit reload once ? The meta tag issue is still there so you need to hit reload. I cannot reproudce the problem in my build. The s-cedilla looks fine to me in my local build. Please at least try on MacOS. Thanks.

Summary: iso-8859-2 charset not rendered correctly → [PP] windows only: iso-8859-2 charset not rendered correctly
Hitting reload crashes the browser (using the same build). This does indeed work correctly on Mac OS 8.5.1 (my apologies for not trying before!). If there is a known issue where you have to hit reload before the meta tag info is correctly read, please go ahead and mark this as invalid. Thanks!

actually, i spoke too soon. on my iMac, loading this page has varying results - sometimes, one of the occurances of the s-cedilla will display correctly, whereas others will not. sometimes, no occurance loads correctly. it's seemingly random...

fixed and check in.

Above URL is not available. I tested another iso-8859-2 page. It looks fine. I changed QA contact to the original reporter.

i believe this is OK. (trystero.org is down indefinitely - the ISP who provided its 'Net access is out of business.)
