build id: 1999042608 reproduces on: windows nt 4 sp 4. linux works as expected. can't test against mac os as the Apple USB keyboard does not have that key! to reproduce: click into the location: control go get the insertion cursor. press the delete key (NOT the backspace key!). nothing happens. expected result: text to the right of the insertion cursor is deleted (as happens on nav 4.51).

This works fine for me on NT. I'm hoping that means its fixed. Reopen if I'm wrong.
