Resolved as WORKSFORME. The url "http://www.altavista.com/" loads fine for me with today's build. No problems.

Apprunner is hanging on numerous sites while page loading. This problem is NOT build depenedent but seem to be set off by a low Memory condition. The following PC configs produce lotsa hangs and crahes: Win95 P133 48MB RAM 160MB VM/swap file WinNT P133 32MB RAM 60MB VM It would appear that the low memory causes some major page swapping to occur which brings Apprunner to its knees in a hurry. I would be happy to reproduce these problems in the DialUp lab #226 (phone: x5546 ask for Vince)for anyone. This problem needs to be resolved before I can complete any meaningful performance test data collection for Jan. On different builds I've had reproducable hangs on altavista, looksmart, barnesandnoble and crashes on expedia and icq. I too cannot reproduce these problems on PCs with > 128MB RAM. Is that what development is using? If so they may never be able to see these problems as consistently as I am.
Target Milestone: M6
Well, I'm not seeing this with a 64 MB PC either. I'm going to move this to M6 until we get some resproducible test cases from QA.
I'm happy to report on the 4/28/99 build I could NOT reproduce this crash. Also the hangs on altavista, looksmart, barnesandnoble and crashes on expedia and icq were NOT reproducable. And, the QAP 100 URL load page automation ran flawlessly! :-) I'll keep an eye on this bug and if I see a regression in any of the upcoming builds I'll call it out to you.
