* TITLE/SUMMARY
[PP] Seamonkey help not appended to Mac OS Help menu, but is its own menu
* STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0) Launch Apprunner
* RESULT
- What happened
The three rightmost menus are Help, Debug, and Help.
- What was expected
Someone to come up with a crazy hack to combine our Help menu with the Mac OS
Help menu. Otherwise, this could lead to a user experience nightmare ("You'll
find that information under the Help menu..." "Which help menu?" "The one on your
right?" "No it's not" "oh, wait, are you using a US system, or a Hebrew or Arabic
system?")
* REGRESSION
- Occurs On
Mac OS Apprunner (4.29.99optimized build)
- Doesn't Occur On
Win32 Apprunner (4.29.99 AM optimized build [NT 4, Service Pack 3])
Linux Apprunner (4.29.99)
* CONFIGURATIONS TESTED
- [Mac] Power Mac 8500/120 (233 Mhz 604e), 64 MB RAM (VM on; 1 MB of VM used),
1024x768 (Thousands of Colors), Mac OS 8.5.1
- [Win32] Vectra VL (233 Mhz P2), 96 MB RAM, 800x600 (True Color), NT 4.0 SP3.
- [Linux] Vectra VL (266 Mhz P2), 96 MB RAM.

Welcome to the joy. What do you want me to do, special case "Help" in MacOS menu
code and append all items to the bottom?

Being blissfully ignorant of the complexities involved, Eli says "Sounds great to
me!"

Er -- Can't we just have the Help menu as spec'd out in the Help menu UI? We've
not seen this problem in earlier releases. I believe that the Mac interface
rules force us to have "Balloon Help" as an item, but the rest of the items
in the menu should be ours. If we append our Help items onto the MacOS items,
that will be a *very* long (not to mention confusing) menu.
Here's the URL for the Help menu specification:

Thanks!

Putting in M9 with a bunch of other MacOS specific menu bugs
Moving all Apprunner bugs past and present to Other component temporarily whilst
don and I set correct component. Apprunner component will be deleted/retired
shortly.

Verified fixed on 1999083010 Mac OS build, and double checked 1999083010 Win32
build to ensure that its Help menu wasn't affected adversely in the process. Now,
only a single Help menu appears.
The menu's content deviates from the specification, but I assume that's an issue
to address at a future date (given that none of the items are active).
