Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.6) Gecko/20100625 Firefox/3.6.6

For example, when printing a page using firefox, a dialog box pops up where one can choose the given settings (i.e. save as PDF), but if in meanwhile another (slower) webpage in the background pops up an authentication dialog, then it does not allow further actions in neither dialog: firefox has to be killed externally.

This issue may also happen with thunderbird and other platforms...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a webpage, which will eventually open an authentication window, but not instantly
2. open another dialog in the application, for example print
3. there will be two dialog windows, and the user will not be able to close either, forcing kill from dock/terminal
Actual Results:
the application became non-interactive with the user, forcing it to be killed from outside

Expected Results:
be able to close either dialog boxes and proceed with browsing

this may also apply to other mozilla applications like thunderbird, and other platforms too.
