From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 (Macintosh; U; PPC) BuildID: 4.76 I'm not a Java Wiz so I don't know what's actually gumming things up, but when I have the MRJPlugin 1.0b2 activated in Netscape Communicator, any page with BillsClock on it will lock the cursor as the finger until I force quit Communicator. * Copyright 1996-98 by Bill Giel * * E-mail: bgiel@ct2.nai.net * WWW: http://www.nai.net/~rvdi/~bgiel/bill.htm Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the listed URL 2. There is no step two. 3. There is no step two! Actual Results: Communicator unresponsive Expected Results: loaded the java clock

True, junruh, the URL I gave works for me too. My mistake there. Try the new URL I gave: http://www.pcop.com/test/clockpage1.html. It definitely freezes me up and I have MRJ 2.2.3 too. Perhaps it's the multiple instances of the Java app....
Worksforme with the 11/1 branch Netscape 6 build, and also with Nav 4.76. Try reinstalling MRJ 2.2.3. I'm using Mac OS 9.0.4.
I'm running 9.0.4 too... Okay, I'll do a MRJ 2.2.3 reinstall and get back to you. Thanks.
Verified worksforme with thte 11/27 trunk Mac build.

I did a reinstall on MRJ 2.2.3 after trashing all MRJ files. Opening http:// www.pcop.com/test/clockpage1.html still hangs Netscape Communicator 4.7.6 on my G4 with MacOS 9.0.4. I will next try with a minimal MacOS extension set + MRJ 2.2.3 and see if it's some extension or Communicator Plug-In conflict.

Is it just me here is the reporter having problems with... netscape 4.7.x ? (See the first description of the bug) This is Mozilla!
no bug for me, with Mac OS 8.6 build 2000121112. It does seem that this is a Communicator bug... Marking INVALID, as no one seems to be able to reproduce this, and it appears that this is not even a Mozilla issue...Reporter can reopen if it is seen in recent Mozilla build...
