http://mail.hpcs.com is running the IMHO webmail suite for the roxen webserver, if you try to login using mozilla, it will ask you if you want to save the password for next time, over and over, about 1000 windows pop up. Test by logging into http://mail.hpcs.com with any user/pass combo you like
with any pass it says: Could not log in: Wrong login or password. Try again. :) Please provide some...
Trying with a randomly selected username/password, I do not see the bug... Linux trunk build 2000110308
You have to have the option to save passwords enabled in mozilla! i can reproduce this on every linux box with m18 i have.
cc: morse.
bah, what build of psm? (Tools>P.&S.>P.S.M.|About Security) please specify a user/pass pair, and since we can't reproduce this I highly recommend you attach screen shots of each step (or put them on a webserver and set this bug's url to the screen-shot list). Oh, and reporter, please include a build id. If possible please try to reproduce w/ a nightly build, and please read http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html
timeless: he said m18 ;) reproter: please use a new nightly build and see if you can reproduce this. thanks!
OK, i dont have psm installed, i made a screenshot, and also checked that any random non valid user name also causes the problem, the screenshot is at http://thanatos.hpcs.com/~thunder/mozilla-m18-bug.png if you look in the gnome task list there, you see about 1000 windows, those are all copies of the window that is in the foreground, and they continue to be created!, until i kill mozilla
I just tested nightly build ID 2000110308 and the bug is gone, good work :-)
closing bug, since its fixed in the latest nightly
