Outgoing mail shouldn't prompt for password when it isn't required

If I do not have my IMAP mailbox password saved, then when I send mail through
Mozilla, it prompts me for a password. I do not believe this should be the case,
since my SMTP server does not use a username/password. Not sure if this is a
"feature" or a bug.

are you set up to save messages to an imap sent folder? Maybe that's why you are
getting prompted for your password.....
