expected behavior is for prefs50.js to be created in ~/Users50/default/ directory (which occurs on Win95 and Win98). This occurs only on WInNT Build 1999050423 (M5)

apprunner with no params should either be launched into the create profile wizard or launch apprunner with the last known good profile. If create profile comes up then prefs50.js will be stored in the directory path you choose in the wizard. If apprunner runs smoothly with a profile, then one should look for prefs50.js in the directory of that profile. Does the bug fall into any one of these categories ?

this behavior noted before existence of Create Profile Wizard-if there were no existing profiles and no wizard to create one, expected behavior was to use Users50/default directory to store any profile information (prefs50.js) With Create Profile Wizard, I agree that this is a duplicate of 5907
