Oh the humanity! Of all things, we can't seem to render the XML version of the XML spec! It basically just spits out all of the document's text content without any formatting.
Forgot to add that this is with a build from 5-May-1999

Alec-- Have you confirmed this on NT an 98/95 yet?

Ok, just tried my Windows 5/6 build, gives exactly the same result.

This document is structured correctly. I don't see any style markup, so I'm not sure we're rendering it wrong. Please take a look. (Is it possible that the <p> tags are supposed to be in the HTML namespace?)

The problem with this page is that the XML document does not have an assoicated style sheet. In the absence of any style information, Gecko displays the page without any formatting. This is a markup bug, not a Gecko one. Marking bug invalid. Just for additional info, IE 5 displays the following error on loading this page: <IE5-Error> The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The system cannot locate the object specified. </IE5-Error>
