From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; m18) Gecko/20001204 BuildID: 2000120420 Server msnews.microsoft.com group microsoft.public.win32.programmer.gdi The list of news items came up, but when I opened an item, I was getting a different item than the one I requested (from a few lines above in the list - sorted newest at the top - the exact line offset was not constant, I saw a range of from 3-6 lines). When I switched to another newsgroup, the messages were also not matching the list, but then I switched back to ...programmer.gdi, and it was okay. Hasn't happened since. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce:
I don't see this in dec11 commercial trunk build. Reporter couldn't reproduce either. Marking worksforme.

Summary: open item from list - get wrong one → News: mismatch of msg content to thread pane selection
Works for me, are you possibly on dialup and have a system with 48 megs or less of memory? Could've just been slow, wrong populating of the message tree. VERIFIED WFM, using 2000121104
